Within my heart, there is a place where one person lives, and that person is Jesus.

Society has changed over the years. But it hasn’t changed me or how the Lord works through me. Society made me believe that my kind nature was a problem. That being humble, showing love and kindness to others was a problem because of how people treated me. Back then, I was afraid to show that side of me until one day; the Lord made me realize that some people are going through difficult times. Sometimes people have gone through a problem that can make them bitter. But as a woman of God, I could be the light that they needed–to feel encouraged and happy, to be themselves again.

I truly believe in love. God gave us his only begotten son Jesus; Jesus was sacrificed so our sins can be forgiven and so we can live an eternal life with him. That is love. Pure love if you ask me. Love is so important because God Is Love. Sometimes we forget to express it to others.

God puts the right people in our lives for a reason. I believe we each have a purpose that the Lord wants us to fulfill on this earth. Everything we do, we do it for God. Show it or say it. I say spread more love and kindness in the world. What is something you want to see more of in the world? Be that! Let’s show gratitude, love, humbleness, and joy. Try to be a reflection of the Lord each and every day. But how can we do that? We can try to be a perfect image, but we judge one another. Who are we to judge? We are not perfect. God is!
