In the Book of Judges, we see a repetitive cycle that many of us would condemn but are, in fact, much like the Israelites in repeating this same cycle. Throughout the book, it says,” And the people did evil in the sight of the Lord.” Over and over again, the people sinned, experienced the wrath of God, were oppressed, repented by crying out to God, and God raised Judges to deliver the people. How many times have you been stuck in this cycle? Who do you know is in this cycle now?
Time and time again in scripture, we see God as the God of the impossible. When those who trust in Him, submit to His instructs and are obedient, He proves to make a way out of no way. Honestly, he does so even when His people are not faithful or obedient. There has never been, nor will there ever be a time when God is not capable of delivering His people. Pray for those you know (or self) who are in this cycle, that they will cry out to God, and He will deliver them.
Thee disciples were even more amazed, and said to each other, “Who then can be saved?” Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things aree possible with God.”
