It is very important that we take a heart exam. We often need to sit back and ask ourselves some difficult but important questions. Not only is it important that we ask ourselves the hard questions but we must be honest with ourselves and God with the answers. Today I want to provide each of us an opportunity to take a heart exam. Ask yourself the following questions below. Pray and ask God to reveal to you what you need to seek His guidance on in order to grow.

1. Do you have a personal relationship with Christ? (Not a religion) Why or why not?
2. Do you believe that the word of God is real and practical?
3. Do you trust God to hear and respond to your prayers?
4. What’s important to you? Why?
5. What are you thankful for? Why?
